The farmers' market in Benkovac, for the first time this year on the square created with EU money. It takes place every 10th of the month. An experience. Farmers from all over come here and offer their produce, some of them selling their products from the trunk of their car. Homemade sausages, freshly baked products such as bread or pastries, suckling pig or lamb straight from the grill, cevapcici in flatbread, plenty of pivo and smells and impressions. Somehow you can buy everything here, from junk goods to electronic trinkets, furniture and tools. It's amazing. You should arrive very early, it probably starts at 6 a.m. and ends at noon.
