This small suburb of Cork is still quite unspoiled.
Here you'll find a few shops for everyday needs, some pubs, a great playground for the little ones, and plenty of picnic tables and benches for the grown-ups. The ferry to Cobh departs very close by.
Passage West is a historic, former port located on the Cork Harbour estuary, once a busy terminal for transatlantic steamships in the 19th century. Now a scenic, residential suburb of Cork City, it still retains its maritime atmosphere with views across the water towards Great Island.
