Oberbärgli is located at an altitude of around 1,970 meters and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and the Oeschinensee. The mountain restaurant is a popular resting point for hikers.
The path leads up and down and then winds through alpine meadows and over rocky passages. The ascent/descent can be steep in places, so sure-footedness is required. The path is well marked and repeatedly offers fantastic views of the turquoise-blue Oeschinensee. On the way you pass impressive rock faces and, in clear weather, have a magnificent view of the surrounding peaks such as Blüemlisalp and Doldenhorn.
