The medieval town center is well worth a visit and there are inviting opportunities to satisfy the hunger and thirst of cyclists on every corner. Also for the night the small town offers enough possibilities. By S-Bahn Pirna is well connected to the supra-regional railway network in Dresden.

You should visit the market square with the old town hall and the church in the background, if only because of the well-known Canalletto view. The late Gothic church also offers extraordinary architectural monuments. The probably unique late Gothic net vault is to be emphasized. You have to see it 👍🏻☺️.

The old town of Pirna consists of several pretty shopping streets around the historic market square with the town hall as the center. Canaletto already appreciated the extraordinary flair of Pirna and expressed this in a famous painting. Cozy restaurants on and around the market square invite you to linger.
