Monticello is owned and operated by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, founded in 1923. This historic site showcases numerous exciting artifacts from Thomas Jefferson and the history of the USA, including the Declaration of Independence and the Statute for Religious Freedom. You can choose between guided and self-guided tours, though there is a fee to enter the park.
