The Essenthoer mill is located in an idyllic side valley of the Diemel and is operated since the 15th century. Meanwhile, hydropower is used exclusively for power generation.
In addition, a training station for birds of prey and owls was set up next to the mill and an arboretum was created.

Today we delivered a weakened red kite to Mrs. and Mr. Limpinsel. They showed us their station and took a lot of time!

Viewings and guided tours only possible by prior arrangement!
Admission is free, but the foster children are happy about a donation!
