Liscia Lake is an artificial lake in Gallura. It was built in the 60s after the construction of a dam on the river of the same name between the municipalities of Sant'Antonio di Gallura, Luras, Arzachena and Luogosanto. The excursions along the lakeshore are a wonderful opportunity to admire the lush nature, which offers a never-ending natural spectacle. The lake is surrounded by holm oaks, millennial olive groves and centuries-old plants. Here you will find numerous wood pigeons and turtles. The lake is divided into smaller channels and islets and is characterized by its sandy shores. Source: ciaosardinia.com
