Built over the confluence of the River Ilen and the Clodagh River, the bridge is known as a popular photo spot for its stepping stones and lush surroundings.
It has a turbulent history, originally built in 1830, before being destroyed during the War of Independence. The rebuilt bridge also carries a plaque with a verse by a local poet.
