From here you can swim with all what the amps float down.
The Amper leaves the Ammersee in Stegen and begins its peaceful run through the large reed area of the Ampermoos.
After the pilgrimage church Grafrath begins a brisk, varied route.
The Amper has dug its way through a beautiful forest gorge.
Only by boat we can reach this idyll.
Between Schöngeising and Fürstenfeldbruck, the river becomes narrower and faster and, as a highlight, there is a lively stage after Schöngeising.

Here begins the Amper as a discharge from the Ammersee. However, this is located directly on the highway and is at least not a scenic highlight, or just as a view of the lake.
