Directly on the trail on the Zschopau is this forest monument, dedicated to the Saxon chief forestry master Max Zschimmer who worked in the 19th century. A piece of river on the Amselstein with resting place.
The Zschimmerstein on the banks of the Zschopau is reminiscent of the chief forester Max Zschimmer, who worked from 1895-1904. The smaller rocks on the north side of the Zschimmerstein that rise up the slope are striking.
