The building was built on its current site in the 15th century and has been renovated several times since then. The castle itself cannot be visited as it is a private residence, but the beautiful, old, architecturally designed castle garden is worth a visit for anyone who enjoys walking in the fresh air.

Palsgaard Castle is a beautiful manor house with a rich history, located on the Juelsminde peninsula between Snaptun and Juelsminde. The castle itself is privately owned and therefore cannot be visited, but the castle park is open to the public and is one of the largest in Denmark.

The history of Palsgaard dates back to the 13th century. Originally, the buildings were located about 1.5 kilometers from their current location. In the 15th century, the building was built on its current location and has been renovated several times since then.

The castle park covers 31 hectares and offers many opportunities for walking and exploring. There is also a small visitor center where you can learn more about the history of the place.
