At the end of the day trail (3-6h return) there are the Routeburn waterfall and 2 more Routeburn huts (lower and upper), where you can book a night or even camp. The trail leads from the two huts over two passes even further past lakes to the watershed (Devide) in the valley to Milford Sound (3-4 days). In the Glenorchy Valley, there are other hiking opportunities (easy trails to challenging mountain peaks tracks). Lord of the Rings fans will also get their money's worth (Isengard, Lothlórien Paradise, Diamont Lake, Middle-Earth Forest, Mt. Earnsburn, Boromir's Fate River Earnsburn Gorge, ...) One of so much must-do for every New Zealand vacationer. Further information at Wikipedia: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Routeburn_Track
