Winding paths run through the Neuenburg primeval forest, the heart of the Friesische Wehde. Together they form a well-thought-out network of paths that makes the green oasis between Zetel and Neuenburg a popular destination for nature lovers, athletes and those seeking relaxation. The impressive tree population seems magical, sometimes even impenetrable. But thanks to the well-signposted "junction system", forest visitors can find their way around the woods at any time and anywhere - without any maps or navigation devices.

Our guests take home lasting impressions, especially when hiking in the Neuenburg primeval forest. The Neuenburg primeval forest has been a nature reserve for more than 100 years, where flora and fauna can develop without human influence. The old hunting lodge, in the middle of the primeval forest, is a beautiful and popular photo subject.
