Plamann Park is a large park just north of central Appelton, with a 27-hole disc-golf course, a lake beach, a kids' farm, sports fields, and picnic areas. It's open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This is a family-friendly spot, and the petting zoo is a hit with the kids.
