Near the village Waranéné is this large plantation of acacia auriculiformis from 2015, demonstrating the trees potential to grow and rehabilitate formally barren land that had been exhausted and turned into deserted wasteland by a few years of cotton farming. The smooth trails are excellent for biking and now benefit from the trees' cooling shade. Abundant mango trees grow all around; some wild, some grafted varieties.
