Next to the main road we find this small hermitage dedicated to the True Cross. It is usually opened for worship on certain occasions including the main festival.
Built over 400 years ago, it was associated with the Brotherhood of the True Cross. It features simple shapes, whitewashed adobe walls, a gabled roof with Arabic tiles, and a facade topped with a bell gable. It was common in the Priory of San Juan to build hermitages next to parish churches dedicated to popular saints. There were three in Camuñas: San Sebastián, San Nicasio (now lost), and the True Cross.
