The mill near Hemmendorf is a late neoclassical mill building dating back to the mid-19th century. It is located in Hemmendorf, a district of the municipality of Untermerzbach in Bavaria. The mill on the Itz River has two stone grinding mills and three roller mills. The interior is completely preserved and reflects its condition around 1900. The mill was in operation until 1962. Today, it serves exclusively to generate electricity. The main building is a prestigious, three-story, two-wing structure and is a listed building.
