The Monastery of the Holy Cross (Monasterio della Santa Croce) is a historic and religious Catholic site located in Florence, Italy. Founded in 1294, it is one of the most important Franciscan monasteries in the city.

The Monastery of the Holy Cross (mosteiro de Santa Cruz in Portuguese) is a convent building located in Portugal, in Coimbra. It was founded in the 12th century by the Canons Regular of the Holy Cross, a congregation of the confederate Canons Regular of St. Augustine; in the 16th century the church and convent building were rebuilt in Manueline style and the sumptuous funerary monuments of the Portuguese king Alfonso I and his son, King Sancho I were created. In 1910 the monastery of the Holy Cross was declared a national monument.
