You can spend a lovely day here. After a very nice, smooth path through the middle of the forest, you roll into Klein Wall, past a FDGB holiday bungalow village. It has retained its old charm, a little morbid and partly overgrown by pine trees. Past historic brick buildings, which will certainly not be saved, down to the Stobber. Two large halls for fish farming are adjacent to the multi-storey former mill brick house. In the last months of the GDR, a fish farming PGH was built here, which is still in operation today.
In front of the second hall is a green building called "Zur Forelle". The restaurant is usually open at lunchtime. However, due to a lack of staff, there were also long closing times. The food is simple, fresh, delicious and seasonal. You sit outside under cover.
In the hall there are fish sandwiches, fresh fish and smoked meats from our own production.
With a fishing license and a day ticket you can try your luck at the 4 ponds behind it. Fishing rods and baitcasters etc. can also be hired.
Afterwards you pay for the catch according to weight.
There are also some covered seating areas in this area.
It is nice to feel the peace and quiet here in the fresh forest air.
