Izcuchaca, the main town between Huancayo and Huancavelica, is a town with a mild climate and a beautiful stone bridge from the colonial era.
It also has a beautiful ceramic artisan school (porcelain work) that has been operating in Izcuchaca for twenty years. In the area there are also hot springs and archaeological remains that can only be reached on foot.
The place has retained its idyllic colonial atmosphere, which makes it special.
