The Zwölferhorn cable car is a gondola lift that runs from Sankt Gilgen (until the Salzkammergut local railway from St. Gilgen station was closed) to the Zwölferhorn. The original bicable gondola lift opened on June 30, 1957 and was closed on December 31, 2019. The monocable gondola lift, which was rebuilt in 2020 largely on the same route by the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group, opened on October 23, 2020.
