This is the access road, or rather one of many access roads, to Brunsberg. On some days there is a lot going on here. The view is phenomenal. Lots of heathland and sometimes you can see Heidschnucken sheep. From here, many paths lead into the nature reserve. I really like to cycle down the mountains, such as Flidderberg, Pferdekopf, Höllenberg with Höllschlucht and Brunsberg.

The Brunsberg and the surrounding landscape is a highlight for mountain biking and hiking in the Buchholz area. It is on my local circuit and invites you to a small climb and one (or several different) descents at any time of year and day. There are also nice spots to take a break and marvel at the beautiful heath landscape.
The surrounding trails are also varied and very idyllic, so there is a lot to discover. Cake or a meal in the nearby Café Schafstall in the
Büsenbachtal is obligatory. Have fun!
