A few kilometers from the city of Alcamo, located on a hill in the center of what was the Fico fiefdom, stands the majestic architectural complex of Baglio Pastore. It was built on a pre-existing structure by Baron Nicolò Pastore Rincione, who left it to his son Felice Pastore, who in the second half of the 19th century enlarged it and made the manor house more elegant, taking care of the design of both the internal spaces and the external. The monumental entrance of the villa opens onto a large staircase that leads to the main floor characterized by large decorated halls and two panoramic terraces overlooking the countryside with a sea view. Flanking the entrance to the palace is the monumental façade of the chapel with the imposing portal made up of four columns supporting a stone architrave. Both for its considerable size and for its architectural qualities it represents an extraordinary example of Sicilian rural baronial architecture
