Until the middle of the 17th century, Versam and its farms formed a single parish with Valendas. The parish church and burial site were in Valendas. Before the Reformation, Versam had only one chapel. The organ in the church in Versam is not only a feast for the ears, but also for the eyes. This magnificent work was built by the organ maker Pankraz Keyser from St. Margrethen.
