In this section, the footpath, the inline skating path and the cycle path are separated. The cycle path is about six meters higher. It is noisy due to the adjacent A43 motorway, but the view from this point is excellent.

The Kemnader See was created as a reservoir in 1980 on the city border between Bochum, Hattingen and Witten. For this, 3 million cubic metres of earth had to be removed. It has now become a popular destination for cyclists, skaters, joggers, sailors and surfers.
