    The church has several 17th century paintings and a number of statues of saints from the 18th and 19th centuries. The church has three neo-Gothic altars: the main altar is from 1913, the northern Our Lady altar is from 1920 and the southern side altar, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is from around 1924.

      The oldest parts of the church, the crossing tower and part of the choir, may date from the second half of the 13th century.
      In the second half of the 16th century, the church was restored after being damaged during the religious disputes. Shelling in the 17th century made new repairs necessary.

      The church roof was damaged during a shelling on September 26, 1914, but was repaired in 1920.
