Hotel Bristol is a luxurious five-star hotel in Warsaw, located at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 42/44, next to the Presidential Palace. The facility offers two restaurants, two banquet halls, a business center, a library, a swimming pool, a sauna, a gym and other amenities. Its history dates back to the late 19th century, when it was built on the site of the Tarnowski Palace, on the initiative of Stanisław Roszkowski and Ignacy Paderewski. In 1901, the hotel was opened, which stood out for its modern technical solutions for the time. After many changes of owners, fires and war damage, the hotel was rebuilt and resumed its activity. In 1993, it reopened after renovation. Today, the hotel is part of The Luxury Collection and is famous for its prestigious guests and events.

The building was the first in Warsaw to use reinforced concrete ceilings. The hotel had a power plant, central heating, double ventilation, fire hydrants on the floors, a rescue ladder and fireproof ceilings, partition walls and floors. The hotel was equipped with 11 elevators, one of which was for guests and the rest for employees. The crystal elevator for guests took a maximum of 8 people and moved at a speed of 110 cm/second. The hotel had 6 telephone numbers installed (on 800 in Warsaw). Eight-person electric omnibuses with a 30 HP engine reaching speeds of up to 20 km/h were used to serve guests.
