The path to the railway bridge leads over an armored plate path that is difficult to navigate. In many places the slabs have been lifted by the roots of the trees, making it very slow to pass along the path. You should avoid this entire section on a racing bike.

The path on the railway bridge over the Oder towards the south ends at the track bed. There is no path over the tracks and you have to carry the bike over the track bed to get back to the Panzerplatteweg. Caution is advised here, as you always have to expect approaching trains.

A little further south, the Panzerplatteweg leads again over a railway crossing that is tightly closed and also has warning signs and cameras. Caution is also required here.

The two ferries in Brody and Pomorsko are currently closed. Brody is currently closed due to low water levels on the Oder, and Pomorsko is undergoing renovations and will not be open again until mid-September 2025.
