Worth the trip! C’mon, it’s just a mile! A big flat meadow up there and the perfect place to have lunch. The trail didn’t show up on the Komoot map but was clearly marked on the Trailhead map. Protected from the wind on three sides and what a view from the highest point on the trail network. No cows when I was there but plenty of chips says you might have guests if you picnic here.
