The Homestead Trail allows you to visit some of McKinney Falls State Park's historic sites, such as the McKinney Homestead, Gristmill and Smith Family Picnic Table. At the start and end of the trail, you have to cross Onion Creek just by its Lower Falls. Go carefully when crossing the water.
