The precinct around the church was built in the 15th century together with a double mantle wall with two towers on the outer wall and four on the interior wall. The gate tower unites the two precincts and still keeps the wooden portcullis above which the year of 1502 is still visible.
Can see the church from the main route but have to cycle about 3 kilometers off the main route to actually get to it. It's possible to wander around the grounds but to get inside, a local has the key and we do not know who that is.
