Some remains of the primitive Romanesque church of the 11th century are preserved in the part of the sacristy and the head. It had three naves and a steeple. During the Middle Ages it depended on the monastery of Sant Quirze de Colera. The current building was built between 1722 and 1785, although the bell tower was not completed until 1882. It consists of a large nave, with side chapels, a cross with an octagonal dome and a semicircular apse. The facade is simple, with a vaulted portal with a lowered arch, an oculus framed with stone and the octagonal bell tower on the left side.
The church is located in the center of Noves, now the largest in the area, built up from the 18th century.
