At the center of the village is the high-altitude village church, which has St. Alban unsecured as its second name. Walls made of local basalt are used to fortify the slope on which the church and cemetery are located. There are three terraces on it. The building gives the impression of a fortified church, but this cannot be proven historically.

The core of the choir tower church is a work from the 14th century, which was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century and in 1594 (according to dates on the corner stones of the tower) and in the 17th century. Inside there are surrounding double galleries from the 17th century, the upper one with a baluster parapet and the lower one showing scenes from the life of Christ painted in the parapet panels.
