The building of the former steam mill at 17 Maja Street in Pyrzyce was included in the register of immovable monuments of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. This is one of the most valuable examples of industrial construction preserved in Pyrzyce.
The building of the former steam mill has an interesting history. It was built at the beginning of the last century, certainly after 1906. Initially, the mill operated on a steam drive, then electric drive, probably from the 1930s. The facility was used for grain milling until 1959, then it served as an industrial feed warehouse, but is currently unused. Immediately after World War II, the facility was private property, then it was the property of the State Grain Plants in Stargard, the dairy in Pyrzyce, the Trade Plant in Pyrzyce, the Municipal Cooperative in Pyrzyce, and now it is private property again.
