This iconic bridge spans the Kobushi River in Oshika Village.
It is a three-arch bridge of reinforced concrete of the lower road type constructed in 1957.
The bridge is 106 m long and 5.5 m wide, and is a so-called "lozenge girder bridge" that connects the bending-rigid arch and girder with vertical members. It harmonizes with the magnificent natural scenery of the Southern Alps. Here the Akiha Kodō pilgrimage route crosses the Koshibu River. It also offers a stunning view of Mount Akaishi, the highest peak in the Japanese Southern Alps.
