Built in 1907, the Robinson Point Lighthouse Station is a 48-foot brick tower at the sea's edge. It is connected by a wooden walkway that extends slightly inland to the keeper's house, which is now a vacation rental. You can also view the light by boat with Guided Island Tours, Isle au Haut Ferry Service, Old Quarry Ocean Adventures and by air with Penobscot Island Air. Isle Au Haut Light is part of the Deer Isle Lighthouse Trail.
The lighthouse was built in 1907 and is still active today. The tower is 15 meters tall and its lights can be seen from almost 10 miles away (8nautical miles).
The tower was built out of granit and bricks.
