Located on the heights of Nice, Mont Vial dominates the Var valley and offers a challenge to all cyclists who love extraordinary climbs (and out of category in purely cycling terms). It's not gravel strictly speaking, but this small service road with degraded bitumen has the spirit of it: no cars, a natural setting and the impression of a break from the surrounding world. It takes mental strength and hard work to get to the top! Be careful this is not a pass, there is no switch on the other side, we go back down the way we came up. And if the road is theoretically prohibited for motorized vehicles (except service) but there are still people passing and there is not much room to pass each other!
