Both the ranger station and grocery store here are closed but at the time of our visit (26/09/2023) the electricity and the potable water, plus toilets, we’re all open and functioning.
We slept under the cover of the ranger station and could charge everything up there too and use the toilets. Aside from the tap here there’s no water in either direction for about another 60km. There’s barely any water in the reservoir now and it’s a long walk across rough ground to get to it, we didn’t see it at all until crossing the bridge the next day.
The potable water tap is on the grocery store side of the road and is next to the RV dump station. The hose is set up pretty well to take a shower under too, which if you’ve made it this far you’ll probably need!
The campsite at the marina further down the hill is closed and all toilets and water etc are switched off.
