The picturesque village of Montorsaio stands as an authentic masterpiece of defensive architecture. With its slender shape, it represents the perfect prototype of a hilltop village, with its ancient homes arranged in concentric circles, majestically perched to protect the sumptuous cistern and the majestic Sienese keep. The latter, although in ruins, continues to narrate its epic importance over the centuries.
The implacable fortito forest, so called in the suggestive Maremma, climbs tenaciously until it touches the town.
