    Why this highlight is called "Schaichtal" is not really clear to me. The position given is rather the edge of the forest on the ridge between the Schaichtal and Neckar valleys.
    From there, however, it goes north down into the Schaichtal and if you climb the Betzenberg on the other side of the Schaichtal, you will also reach the Aichtal in this way.
    Aich and Schaichtal offer cyclists something for every need. The valleys can be navigated upstream or downstream with a fairly moderate and constant incline from Nürtingen via Waldenbuch to Schönaich or from Neuenhaus to Dettenhausen and offer challenging trails and climbs at any time by taking one of the many junctions to the right or left and then either up in the direction of Fildern or up in the direction of Schlaitdorf, Walddorf or Dettenhausen. The valleys are in the middle of the Schönbuch nature park with a dreamy landscape, beautiful flora and fauna and a few small, romantic lakes and ponds.

      Wonderful view over the Neckar valley to the elevation of the Swabian Alb. At this section there are a few rest areas with benches or table and benches. Wonderful for a small snack with a great view.
