From the center of Borgo Ampiano, instead of keeping to the main road to Valeriano, take the Strada dell'ancona, on the left, and you will find yourself on a beautiful cycle path dedicated to Ottavio Bottecchia, a Bersagliere on bicycle in the Great War. "On 4 November 1917 we find in Lestans a young Bersaglieri cyclist specialized in assault explorations, assigned to General Di Giorgio's Special Army Corps.
