one of the world's largest botanical gardens. After the breakdown of the Soviet Union, little has been done, so it's mostly those bushes that are more aggressive than the others. However, since 2014 or so, thanks to the work of NGO Archa and others, things get moving a bit. There's an educational center in the main building.
that Botsad is huge, so it's one of the coolest places in the city on hot summer days.
the upper part south of Suhe Batora is closed to the public, though people walk there. the lower part has an exit to Suhe Batora, so it can be an alternative to the car-infested streets to its East and West if you ride or walk up.
