The Mainspitze – Ginsheim/Gustavburg/Kostheim 🚴‍♂️

At the corner of the Mainspitze, where the Rhine and Main rivers converge, visitors are treated to a magnificent panoramic view of the skyline of the city of Mainz, including the famous Mainz Cathedral. The Main River flows here, after a 524-kilometer journey from its source to its mouth, into the Rhine. There's always something interesting to see on this busy waterway, which is also part of the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal. From here, you can perfectly observe the shipping traffic, with passenger, cargo, and tugboats from many countries.

The Mainspitze is accessible via a well-developed and paved bicycle/pedestrian path. 🚴‍♂️

Highly Recommended !!!
If you are on the way to Mainz, you have to drive a little back and forth because the bridge entrance is much further in the direction of Ginsheim, but you should definitely plan this little detour.
