Unnersdorf is located about seven kilometers southwest of Lichtenfels in a right side valley north of the Main. The Roßbach, a tributary of the Main, flows through the town.

Entry point in Unnersdorf into the Main:
A rather challenging starting point with small rapids. Guest houses are directly opposite. The bathing lake, family pool, spa park and Obermain Therme are about 1.5 km away, as are the train station, campsite and motorhome parking space. Minimum water level at the Kemmern gauge 2.20 m (hnd.bayern.de) and other navigation requirements must be observed! To protect the breeding birds, only land at the marked entry and exit points
