Was there on a Sunday in the summer: class asphalt, car-free, sometimes a sheep, e-bike or walkers and lots of Schafköttel. And again and again a gate, which one must open. For miles of great scenery & quiet track! Thumbs up!

Very nice stretch, or part of the Elbe. Jerderzeit the elbe cycle path can be left, depending on Fittnesslevel. In autumn and winter the gates are open throughout. It's a little annoying in the spring and summer, but understandably the gates are closed. But one but the beautiful landscape. At the Ausflukslokalen it pays to pause. Between the long straights hardly any movement, at the hotspots like Vogelwarte, Elbstrand, Colmar, Wedel in the Somer much operation. But with mutual consideration a very nice route.

If you like northern Germany, you will probably fill up here. Flat, dike, straight ahead and sheep fed. Not necessarily a stretch of grass, usually headwind, lots of sheep requiring a lot of zigzags and a gate to stop and open every kilometer.
