For me, the cultural highlight of the capital is clearly the monastery complex on the western outskirts of the city. In 1838 it was established as a religious center on Dalkha Hill. It grew to become the most important site of Lamaist Buddhism in Mongolia 🇲🇳 ☸️ 🕉️ .
