Please visit the area around Krosno and Sanok and see what a great victory the sawmen and their employers achieved over the roadside trees. They stripped trees of not only national road No. 28, but also less important roads and housing estates, cutting down everything they could. Of course, under the pretext of ensuring safety, or the poor health condition of the trees, the threat of pollen from poplars, etc., trees standing 2-3 meters from the road, on the other side of the ditch, were cut down, where being hit by a vehicle was practically non-existent.

However, in the vicinity of Elbląg and the entire area from Żuławy through Pasłek to Święta Lipka, trees grow in the gauge, right next to the asphalt, and no one makes a tragedy of it.
