Up Sunnsied Oostfreeslands

The Jümme holiday region is a paradise for cyclists, anglers, active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation. Wide hammocks, meadows, hedgerows, dikes and the Filsum raised moor characterize the landscape. There are nice cycling opportunities following the well-signposted junction system. You cross the rivers on a crank ferry or with the “Pünte” – the oldest hand-operated ferry in Northern Europe. An exciting crossing over the Leda offers Germany's narrowest car bridge in Amdorf.
With a total of 22 standing and flowing bodies of water, there are ideal conditions for fishing and canoeing. The Jümmesee leisure complex with a campsite, adventure playground, small skate park and boules pitch invites you to relax. A highlight is the garden market “Burggarten Stickhausen” on the medieval castle complex.

It's a dream to drive along the Jümne, pure nature, a lot of peace and interesting experiences such as railway crossings with individual operation and the partly identical Stoechen route
