Vidreres is a Spanish municipality in the province of Gerona, Catalonia, located southeast of the La Selva region.

Integrated in the region of La Selva, it is located 23 kilometers from the provincial capital. The municipal area is crossed by the C-35 motorway that connects with the Costa Brava, as well as by the old N-II road between pK 691 and 693 and by the C-63 road that allows communication with Sils and Lloret de Mar. .

The relief of the municipality is mountainous to the east and flat to the west. The mountains of the eastern zone are part of the Coastal Cordillera, from where numerous streams descend. The altitude oscillates between 423 meters (Puig Ventós) and 73 meters near the border with Massanet de la Selva. The town stands 84 meters above sea level.

The municipality has an area of 48.37 km2. In 2022 it had a population of 8,167 inhabitants and a density of 168.84 inhabitants/km2.
