Well conceived and well executed by the artist, the view through the fish changes the perspective and allows for a different, special view of the sea. Just pause for a moment and capture the perspectives by looking through the opening in the sculpture.

The fish sculpture was created in 2020 by Jávea-based artist Toni Marí, known for his expressive iron works. The work, donated by Rotary Dénia, draws attention to the dangers of plastic waste in the ocean and impressively combines art and environmental protection. The sculpture is particularly atmospheric to discover on a bike ride along the coast, where it blends picturesquely into the maritime ambience of the harbor and the Mediterranean.

The fish sculpture overlooking the sea in Dénia is known as the Moonfish, a work by sculptor Toni Marí located in the Dénia Marina, on the southern breakwater that separates Marineta Cassiana Beach from the port.
